Your Top 3 Priceless Resources In Your Online Business

by Bill on June 25, 2009

I recently interviewed Justin Brooke (you can find the interview on the blog here), and I like to end interviews by trying to find some “magic bullets” or “golden nuggets,” or whatever you want to call them – pieces of information that are absolutely vital to a person’s success in life and business. To me, these are often things that – if understood and internalized properly – can turn a person’s entire life around.

So, when I asked Justin Brooke what his top resources or ideas were, he didn’t even hesitate.

This blog post will be short, because these ideas are so powerful, they don’t need much embellishment. I just want you to think about them and how you can start implementing them in your own business. Ready?

1. Your Relationships

Justin was talking with Russell Brunson one night about this very same topic, and this was Russell’s answer: relationships.

Take away his business, his products, his lists – everything – and leave him with his relationships, and he said he could easily have a product put together and sales copy sent out to fairly targeted lists containing 100’s of thousands of people within just a few days.

Bam! Instant list, instant business, instant cashflow.

That’s the power of good business relationships.

2. Your List

Treat your list of email addresses like the gold it is. Virtually all successful online marketers can put several hundred to 10’s of thousands of dollars into their pockets within just a few days simply because they own a list.

Build it, cultivate it, provide great information so people will stay on it. Treat it as the invaluable asset it is.

3. Traffic

Aside from the fact that your list is like instant, free traffic, realize that traffic allows you to test ads, sales pages, products, and whatever else you’ve got going on in your business.

Without traffic, you have no business, which is why you should…

BUY TRAFFIC, NOT COURSES!

Sure, you need some sort of plan, but once you’ve got a plan, you MUST have traffic, and buying it is the fastest way to get it. Spend some money on AdWords (it can be just a little each day) and watch your results. Tweak your sales copy and your entire sales system, and do more of the things that bring more sales, and less of those that don’t.

I was tempted to write more about all this, but I’m not.

These may be simple, but they are powerful – I hope you find a way to make use of this information in your own business.
